Andaradeniya Group is the principal player in growing, collecting, manufacturing and supplying southern province tea of Sri Lanka. Established in 1990 from a single tea factory by the founder and the chairman of the group Dr. W. Jinnadasa, the organization has over the years expanded its capacity by acquiring and developing another 10 tea factories of the southern province. At present, Andaradeniya Group is the largest made tea supplier in Sri Lanka in terms of low grown tea holding a stake of 2.5% from the entire Tea Exports of Sri Lanka. With 8.5 million kilograms of per annum production, the organization has generated about 2,000 direct employment opportunities and 5,000 indirect employment opportunities.
With its over three decades of remarkable experience and the visionary leadership of the founder and the chairman, Andaradeniya Group (Pvt) Ltd envision to venture out to expand its excellence to tea export sector and value added tea production in the future.
